Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has seen major international inroads into the Latin pop mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu, the hit song from 2016 received the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for the Best Song. The singer released his first long-player ADN for the Medellin-based Sony-distributed La Industria Inc. It reached the top 8 spot on the Top Latin Albums Chart. Vaina Loca was an instant Top Five hit for Ozuna and for him in the following year. He worked alongside Noriel on Mala Influencia in the year 2020. He the following year came out with his second album, the charting Dopamina. Then in 2021 he sang a duet on TINI's streaming smash single Maldita Foto. The year 2023 came around and the hit song La Bachata was released. Turizo is from a musical background, both his elder brother and mother also play music. In his interviews, he said his participation in music as compulsory. While a youngster, was playing the ukulele and piano. He initially wanted to be Veterinarian, however after his brother Julian encouraged him to take lessons in singing with the help of a Cuban singer, he altered his the direction of his career.
