Rosalia Vila known as Rosalia is an Spanish Flamenco/Pop artist. From her teens the singer is a part of popular music and flamenco. Also, she has explored other genres like hip-hop soul and Trap. Her voice is described by no less an artist than the flamenco guitarist Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp and with a bite that is similar to the old ones. El Mal Querer was her significant commercial breakthrough and critical success in the year 2018. The single Los Angeles garnered her attention as well as a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist and it was a top hit on Billboard's Latin Pop Albums and she received the Grammy. The hit single La Fama featuring the Weeknd came out in 2021. Motomami is her 3rd full-length album. It featured songs written in collaboration with other performers and producers like Cory Henry. The album was released on March 20, 2022 after a performance of the track Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the first Spanish singer to sing solo in the program. Rosala from Motomami who was awarded The Latin Album of the Year and 3 Latin Grammy Awards in total for Motomami was also the first woman to do so.
